Professor James Garcia will offer his experiences after teaching and traveling in the Middle East for nearly two years. This talk will cover Professor Garcia’s gradual shift in perceptions that arose from exposure and immersion in a different culture, aspects of society and academia found in the region. An open discussion will follow. Garcia has been teaching history and government at Atlantic Cape since 2015.
